New Internet presence for CENTROSOLAR
In time for this year's solar trade fair EUPVSEC in September, this photovoltaic supplier has given its Internet presence a fundamental overhaul, placing a stronger focus on functionality and user-friendliness. One particularly beneficial addition is an innovative product comparison function, specially developed for Centrosolar. With the relaunch, the parent company Centrosolar Group AG has been given a separate website for the first time and specifically addresses investors at
www.centrosolar-group.com.
Hamburg, 26 August 2010.
Centrosolar AG's new Internet presence is user-friendly and interactive. At www.centrosolar.com, customers and business partners will find a comprehensive range of information, from current events and developments, through to a detailed description of everything that Centrosolar has to offer. The listed holding company, Centrosolar Group AG, Munich, operates its own portal at
www.centrosolar-group.com. Here, for the purpose of high transparency in corporate communications, the specific information requirements of shareholders, investors and analysts are met. The new presence is based on the content management system TYPO3, which is used all around the world for complex websites with considerable depth of information. The relaunch was realised by Sunbeam GmbH, Berlin. The product comparison function, developed specially for Centrosolar, makes it possible to compare systems, modules and components "at a click". Differences and overlaps in the most important key data can be seen immediately; the available product information is regularly extended and added to. A comprehensive reference database, to further simplify requirement-oriented selection, is under development. With the new, clearly laid-out website, Centrosolar is making greater use of interactive display formats. The download area has been extended and made easier to use. An animated film shows the new complete system Cenpac: the four-minute film demonstrates all steps, from transport through to the finished installation, making clear just how simple the system is. Applications for mobile devices such as mobile telephones, smartphones, iPads and the like are in the pipeline. At the same time as the relaunch of the Centrosolar website, Centroplan and Centrosolar Glas have been given a modern, functional Internet presence, as have the European affiliates Centrosolar Spain, Centrosolar Italy and Centrosolar Benelux. France and Greece will soon follow suit.
