Pioneers from the outset
Centrosolar has been in business since 2007 - but it is still among the pioneers of the market. The company was formed from three prime movers of the photovoltaic sector. One of the predecessors - Biohaus from Paderborn - has more than 25 years of experience in the solar business. Within just a few years, Centrosolar became one of the industry's top players.
The long-term experience is reflected in our products: we exclusively distribute solar modules from our own production. Our manufacture "Sonnenstromfabrik" in Wismar at the Baltic Sea is one of the largest module production facilities in Europe. And this year, we are expanding further: A second production at the same location will result in a total annual production capacity of 350 MWp. More than 7,000 solar modules will be manufactured every day.
Successful on five continents
Solar modules by Centrosolar are not only sought after in Germany. We have subsidiaries in eight European countries and 4 offices in North America. Our special modules for island systems reliably generate power on all five continents.
